The best Disabled Dating service because we cater for disabled singles in Canada, U.S.A., U.K. and Australia.!

The owner of this business Patsy Copus has faced many challenges since she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis after giving birth to her 3rd child. Running a business, a home, taking care of children took an incredible toll on her but she knew there was a need for a dating service that catered for the disabled. She was shocked to see so many large dating sites that did not even show photos of disabled men and women. Dating disabled singles.com is not only a dating service, it is also a meeting place for like minded people who may share the same disabilities or want to reach out and talk to others. Patsy hopes you enjoy this website and find your true love or new friends.

**** NEWS ALERT from the Vancouver 2010 Paralympics ****

This is an interesting story about Jessica Long who is 18 years old, a Paralympic athlete (swimmer) who has no legs. We can imagine how hard it has been for Jessica in her 18 years and the struggles she has had to face. What the story goes on to tell you is how the athletes in the Paralympics are not given the same celebrity status that are able bodied athletes get. What a shame!! Good luck Jessica we wish you well.

A few Dating Tips

1. Be honest
Why post a profile that is dishonest? How will you explain it when you decide to meet someone in person? We know that most people will lie about their age or their weight or even their disability. In the end you will have to meet this person face to face and how will you explain it? You expect honesty from people you will date, and they will expect the same of you.

2. Post a great photo
When you do a search on a dating sites what are the profiles that you look at first? The ones with photos of course! Find a great photo, or get someone to take one for you as no one likes to see an outdated photo. Did you know that dating profiles with photos get 10x the attention? It's true! If you are serious about finding a date, post a photo!

3. Ask for a chat
Chatting with someone is a fast way to get to know people. People are very casual and normally not as nervous. It is much faster than using email.

4. Disabled dating guestbook - What is it and how do I use it?
Your guestbook is where people can leave comments about you, and where you can leave comments about them. If you talk to them in the chat room, you can leave a message in their guestbook telling them how much you appreciated chatting with them, or tell other people what a great person they are.

5. Be unique - take your time filling out your dating profile.
Read other profiles and see what you like and don't like about them. Unique profiles get more responses as they are usually honest and have a shoot from the hip type style. Do not use phrases like "not looking for a couch potato" A better phrase would be "looking for someone who is active". If you do not want to have children or be in a relationship with children, there is nothing wrong with that but make sure you say this in your profile so potential suitors can screen you out if they have children or want them in the future. Get a friend to read your profile and ask them if they think it honestly portrays who you are and what you are looking for.

6. Post a video.
Why not post a video introducing yourself? Sometimes a photo does not represent who you really are. Dating video's are the latest technology and can give other singles a better impression of you. Post your profile, add as many photos as you like and add a video. If you would like to learn how to post a photo and or video please visit our Dating video tutorial
